I said in the other thread, I appreciate Triple H's NXT work.
I even dont mind Triple H doing his Mania programs. 90% of the time, he’s losing. A win over a WWE vet is always a good look. So those programs with Seth, Roman, Bryan etc was good for them. With that said, it shouldn't feel like Triple H uses those programs and that NXT clout to insert himself in other angles throughout the year.
If Triple H, or any legend has to get involved in any way, it should be against other established greats to give depth to the card. This isnt a 100% thing because there are exceptions where having an older guy square off against a current guy is a good thing. And there is even an exception where the older guy will win. But majority of the time, the younger/up coming talent gotta get over.
I also will say that I don’t think that its entirely up to older/part time guys to create stars. It helps but its really the full time booking, the individual talent and the feuds/angles from within the current major/upcoming stars on the full time roster. Braun got over with good booking and help from one of todays current stars Roman etc.
