The fukk was up with Cena's green shirt though? Just selling new merch? But yeah. shyt like last night is why I love Punk so much. He went ont of his way to let Trips know he would never kiss his ass.

A got damn red HHH shirt lol. Dude couldn't even rock a raw shirt for one match.

Him & Cena gave no fukks trying to get their merch checks up.

Cena in that loud ass green had me :dead: tho

Crazy thing is, part-time HHH (48 years old) is now close to Flair's age and is older than Savage, Piper & Hogan when they were all full-time main eventing in WCW in 1998. At that time, everyone (including the WWF and HHH) was getting on WCW for having old guys past their prime soaking up the spotlight. WWE has gone beyond that.

Then you've got semi-retired Angle (48) and semi-active Shane (47) on top of that staying in the main events. :dead:

That was the narrative they used but it's always been bullshyt. If age was such a huge factor the WWF's main heel wouldn't have been a non-wrestler in his 50s at the time. The only reason Flair, Macho and Hogan weren't still main eventing WWF shows is because Vince couldn't afford them. If Shawn wanted to wrestle he'd still be wrestling, Vince keeps wheeling Taker out, Angle was purple during his last few years at TNA, who probably have the lightest schedule of any major promotion in history, yet Angle is still main eventing. Triple H's entrance video on the Titantron should just have a graphic of a shovel with a caption that says "then, now and forever"

I think this year HHH has started to show his age in the ring.

I think it was his Mania match where i noticed it.

He's still better than Piper, Hogan or Macho was when they were near his age.

I said in the other thread, I appreciate Triple H's NXT work.

I even dont mind Triple H doing his Mania programs. 90% of the time, he’s losing. A win over a WWE vet is always a good look. So those programs with Seth, Roman, Bryan etc was good for them. With that said, it shouldn't feel like Triple H uses those programs and that NXT clout to insert himself in other angles throughout the year.

If Triple H, or any legend has to get involved in any way, it should be against other established greats to give depth to the card. This isnt a 100% thing because there are exceptions where having an older guy square off against a current guy is a good thing. And there is even an exception where the older guy will win. But majority of the time, the younger/up coming talent gotta get over.

I also will say that I don’t think that its entirely up to older/part time guys to create stars. It helps but its really the full time booking, the individual talent and the feuds/angles from within the current major/upcoming stars on the full time roster. Braun got over with good booking and help from one of todays current stars Roman etc.

He's such an attention whore but the perks of fukking the boss's daughter allows you that creative control :francis:

People looking forward to him taking over the company too

You think its bad now can you imagine what its gonna be like when he has complete control?

I’ll give you Piper but Hogan and Savage had better psychology and the crowd was more into their matches.
