Because they know what they're talking about. Honestly, I think people just like bytching about announcers because they hear their voices so much.

Damn breh, you quoted me from a post 1 month ago. LOL :skip:

I forgot all about this thread. It's all good though. :pachaha:

He's a scout; that's how they all talk about players.

Don't give me that military bullshyt. You're cysing that one heavy.

Forgot about this thread....it's not BS either. You are a professional at an adult age. There is no reason to call grown men kids to make yourself look like the bigger man. Scout or not, it drives me crazy, calling AP a kid, Antoine Winfield...he's like 1837281938 years old. Of course he knows his football, no denying that, but calling everyone kids is poor form. Hes not some dude on CBS or FOX thats not connected beyond announcing, he works for the NFL network. I can't believe it doesn't make you cringe even a little when you hear this.

I hate when grown men call other men "kids" to try to make themselves look like a bigger man. It's a pet peeve that I have and he does it all the time, so I can barely listen to him....Especially at the combine...I was designed not to like this guy

Agreed. I always hated this about him, and he does this constantly during draft coverage, considering the amount of young athletes involved.

The main reason I hate him is because he pronounces certain words weirdly.. anything that would usually start with a P is pronounced with a B by him. So you'll hear him saying "Bick" instead of "Pick". Also any word that has "Er" in it he pronounces with an "URR" sound. So "Very" becomes "Vurry" and worst of all, considering it's my name I cringe every time he says "Eric" because he pronounces it "Urr-ic"
