Regardless of what legislation is passed and who passes it we are going to have to get our Black azzes out the mud and get it on our own.

There are a lot of things we can do to help our own cause though such as investing in everything Black. That means Black communities, Black businesses, Black schools, pro Black politicians, and Black coalitions.

A lot of y’all get impatient and frustrated when the change you want isn’t manifesting itself fast enough though. I can only imagine how terrible our lives would be if some our ancestors had y’all’s mindset.

You can continue to complain about the past and keep trying to “repair” a system that is working exactly how it was intended to.

Or you can claim your sovereignty in your mind and focus on setting up and maintaining your personal systems to get to it.

When you do that it really doesn’t matter who is in office or what laws are on the books if your systems are designed to function optimally.
