the ether
this shyt was hella impressive....

He's definitely improved his shot and his handle a lot from two years ago.

I'm struggling to see who he is in the NBA though.....a slightly taller but less athletic Nate Robinson? He doesn't have the passing skills to be your point guard, he's too short to play SG and still doesn't show the shooting ability to play the 2 anyway, he's not gonna be able to defend anyone at the NBA level....I dunno, he still has room to grow but is he gonna try to enter the draft again right away like he did last year? If so, what is anyone really hoping to get from him?

how is this even possible?
why?

Lemme explain...as a collegiate student-athlete once you enroll full-time at your institution you have five years to play four seasons. So, that young man played:

Year 1 and 2: 2015-16 and 2016-17 at Illinois
Year 3: 2017-18 (Sat out year for transfer)
Year 4: 2018-19 (Injured for rest of season after 9 games; Received a medical hardship waiver for an extra year of eligibility)
Year 5: 2019-20 (Played at DePaul)
Year 6: 2020-21 (Received extension of eligibility for a 6th year. The extension allowed the young man to play his fourth full season.
Year 7: 2021-22 (The NCAA allows schools to grant an extension of eligibility to all winter sports student-athletes due to COVID-19).
