You got it backwards: many women who have terrible skin wear make up everyday to cover it.
In my family, we have great skin, glowing shades of brown. We don't even get teenage acne. Moms almost 70, beautiful skin with hardly any wrinkles, just like her sister. (s/o to upcountry SC
) All the women in my family wear make up, to the extent that we consider a girl child to be odd if she
isn't. I've needed to have
several conversations advising patience in those cases, but they always come around.
But we do
normal make up. Light foundation, maybe some powder to cut down on shine, something on the lips. My grandmother wouldn't leave the house without "putting on her face" (usu just lipstick). I was actually the first to go further cuz i hung around Indian girls and they go HARD on the eye make up.
