I'm in Greenville/Leland, Mississippi right now as I type. Visiting fam and catching up on sleep and relaxation for a few days. Been through Jackson a couple of times. Drove thru it, saw Jackson State but didn't hang out. City is pretty hood. Didn't look like too much was there. I think they have some thick broads tho

She grew up in a different time, and yeah, I wouldn't want to come back to the South either probably if I grew up in those days. It was not the business..... But I've heard that story before and seen those same people's kids move back down south with spouses of other races and not think about moving back to where they came from. So..........In most states down here black people equal or sometimes outnumber whites in a lot of areas........Especially in cities.....

My cousin from Dallas is from Mississippi and graduated from Jackson State as well. Dude loves that school. Drives down there to visit friends and his son several times a year at least.

If you're from The Sip , you look at the state a whole different way than the stereo types . Kind of like how outsiders view Oakland: Great city, a lot of black folk, but clowns wanna focus on all the bad of the city like its not anywhere else
