They changed over to the thick cut fries in the mid 00’s. Then Wendy’s followed right after.

The original BK fries were top 2 back in the day. Especially if they were salted right and hot

I literally didn’t like French fries as a kid until I tried those old BK ones shyt ain’t been the same they were second only to Checkers/Rally’s
