- She gave up her life in Massachusetts to go with husband back to Alaska where his family is, to handle a warrant he had been running from since 2017
- In 2017 he was involved in some sort of accident and a friend he was with was permanently injured as a result. Friend is still hospitalized now in 2024, due to the unspecified permanent injury. He fled the state.
- Years later he has a change of heart and decides to go back to Alaska to take care of the warrant. Prior to leaving they were assured by his family that they’d have a place to stay. However, upon arrival they were told they’d have to find somewhere else to go.
- Grandmother whose house they were staying at would periodically kick them out for a week at a time to allow someone else to stay. Always made them leave when someone else was coming over, as if she didn’t want people to know they were there.
- Says the way she’s been treated since arriving has been despicable. Grandmother and mother are basically picking fights with her over any little thing around the house and micro managing everything she does.
- She once cooked dinner for the grandmother every night for a week straight, and the grandmother praised her cooking every single time- and then kicked them out the following week.
- She says the house is gigantic and has more than adequate enough space for numerous guests but for some reason they are always asked to find somewhere else to stay when someone comes by to crash. She reiterates that it seems like the grandmother doesn’t want people to see them there.
- She’s not on speaking terms with her own mother.
