ok so first you only remember trash hooks, then it's a half good half trash project ? Did your opinion change ? Or were you just trying to get a reaction :jbhmm:

My stance has been that, check my post history. Also, I can think it's a half good half trash project, with the trash hooks being the only memorable part. :jbhmm:

EDIT: Tpab was pretty good but not repayable or memorable. crazy how that works. It's almost like you don't have to completely dikkride, you can see positives and negatives :krs:

Breh have you even listened to Section 80? Or have you listened to jazz music at all. Of course it's not as flushed out as TPAB but you can hear it clearly in almost every song on there

Oh because I don't feel some of Duckworth's music automatically I'm completely anti intellectual OR trolling :sas1:

This is why the booth hates Kenny stans:sas2:

Yeah because that's what I said, "No one can enjoy this music".:dahell:

:camby:
You're not a troll because of your music taste. I couldn't care less if you enjoyed listening to farm animals. Your review is trolling.

He just doesn't have the music/thoughts to back it up :yeshrug:

The thing about Pac was he could HIT your heart. Kendrick just can't do it. Pac had universal appeal, he could make a song that was catchy, that you could dance to, but would make you think, and make you feel something. Pac went for your emotions, and he always got it because he was gifted. Kendrick thinks the way to our emotions is our brain, he's too cerebral, trying to sound intellectual (where Pac WAS actually intellectual) and have "Deep" meanings to everything. The new album is basically TPAB throwaways. The whole jazz kick is feeling way too calculated, acting like because you have a fukking saxophone playing random bullshyt in the background your message is gonna hit, that we're gonna think of you as some revolutionary. The critics with constant dikk riding. The most soulful moment on this new album was when Cee Lo starts to sing (on a song that sounds like 50s supermarket muzak). And let's not forget the Adidas commercial:mjlol: He's looking real funny in the light :mjpls:
You're entitled to your opinion but I couldn't disagree more. I think you're missing the point.

It's great that pac gets so much love on the internet on sites like this, and in the street. But going back to the height of pac's popularity he was the most loved and the MOST HATED. Many people have tried to mimic him but no one has come close.

Of all the current hot rappers, kendrick is the one who is really riding for pac, he said he's "makaveli's off spring" NOT makaveli. A lot of dudes try to say pac wasn't lyrical but he was. He was just direct and didn't use a lot of similies and metaphors and his wordplay wasn't diverse. But at least with kendrick his constant tributes and shot outs to pac seemed genuine and not contrived like others who have done in the past. It's more than one way to kill breh, pac did it direct, kendrick does it another way...

Obviously ive listened to section 80 if i commented about it, damn near know it by heart and the songs don't have a jazz vibe. Even kendrick said himself that no one could send him the right beats because he was using a new style for tpab. I could say maybe hold up and kush and corinthians have a little jazz influence but that kinda a strech but they sound more jazzy than rigamortis so i guess. Section 80 sounds like exactly what it was an indy hip hop album.

And btw gkmc is easily his best project

It ain't even hate, breh. It's truth.

I enjoy some of Kendrick's music, The Heart pt 2 is a great hip-hop song, one of my favorites from him. GKMC was a great album. It's just Kendrick's marketing team is failing him. I don't see him as a revolutionary, I don't see him as better than he really is. TPAB was a decent album, with very little replay value. This new one is just TPAB throwaways to me. It's a mess, just like Kanye's.

If they let Kendrick be himself instead of try to pigeonhole him into this martyr role, we might have got some meaningful music. All of this is just too forced.
It's hate. At no point in life is Kendrick trying to embrace pacs image. Kendrick said he was inspired by pac, but Kendrick is Kendrick I don't see how people compare the two.
