As for our Ilhan, I understand our people's eagerness to support our own, but as a whole we could definitely benefit from some extra skepticism especially when it comes to politicians.
In a way I'm glad all this is coming to light so folks realize someone isn't above human nature simply because they're Somali and Muslim.

So my hooyo was telling me she talk to people in Ilhan’s circles who are here in the DC Area (Northern VA).
My mom said that Ilhan’s ex husband and father of all 3 of her kids was abusive, beat her, and was cheating on her for years. Which is what @RadaMillz has said.
It all came to a head last spring. And Ilhan said eff it and did went with cadaan consultant guy.
