Sometimes its like that man I was drinkin from like 3pm to 2am, and was in the cab on the way back...it was really that simple, alabama is just way better than michigan; no reason to dress it up.
Michigan will still win out, and make a bcs game but they were outclassed...fukk it

We can tell who's the REAL cfb fans on here, because Bama has only been relevant the past 5 years or so since Saban got there. All thruout the 00's-mid 00's, Bama was a SECOND tier SEC team, sanctions or otherwise. Came to Norman and got stomped, then we went to Tusca and beat them the next year. This was just in like 2003.
Hell, LSU has been a better team over the past 10-12 years than Bama.
I'd say Michigan was a better program for most of the early-mid 00's than Bama....before the Lloyd Carr era ended. LOL @ acting like y'all didnt go thru a period of Mike Price, Shula, etc before getting Saban.

FSU DL vs Bama OL
Bama D vs FSU OL
USC has the firepower but I think Bama would just run over them all day SC and the rest of them Pac 12 DL's are weak. Oregon D vs Bama
As long as the FSU OL and run game gels don't sleep on the Noles we built up the talent to play straight up with Bama the 2012 FSU defense is legit. All about EJ and the OL doing they shyt.

You know what....Oregon might be a little better tho than we've seen in the past.
Just for the fact that they MIGHT have a real QB now and a better defense. Darren Thomas wasnt gonna do anything and it was known....but if this new dude can stretch the field they can fare better against the SEC than thte past 2 games. Time will tell though. They do rely too much on Deanthony Thomas though....and any good coach like Saban with talent can shut down one guy and let everything else fall into place.

You're speaking of an Alabama probation period, in which we contended for a national title the 2nd year after our probation.. in 2005. We were 9-0 until we lost to LSU and Auburn.
We bounced back pretty fast from that probation. Only team I can see bouncing back faster than we did to win a national title is USC.
But this dude really acting like LSU is more historical than Bama or some shyt... cause he talking to some Bama fans who are probably in high school.
Bama has a national championship in nearly every decade.
And for the 50's and 80's in which we don't have a national title.... in the 60's and 70's we have 3 titles to kind of balance that shyt out nahmsayin.

When you face the facts...(I remember when LSU and Auburn fans were saying Alabama has history but they're not doing shyt in current times) Alabama now has more HISTORY and a better/equal current team (to LSU)
Ummmmm.....exactly my point. LSU wasn't good until they got Saban(Les Miles is STILL eating off Sabans success...he was a joke to us at OU).....just like Bama was 2nd tier status until they got Saban....sanctions be damned....Saban is the difference. PERIOD...end of story.
And I never said LSU was better historically, I said over the past 10-12 years.
The dude I responding to is acting like USC, Ohio St, OU, Florida or nobody else did anythign over the past decade plus while Bama was winning nat. titles every year and putting 5-6 dudes in the 1st round of the draft every year.

It's pretty much RB by committee. Freeman, Thompson & Wilder combined for over 200 but it was Murray State we were up against. I'm still hesitant until Week 4 when we run up against Clemson. Kind of like what I saw in Boyd yesterday. Was way more patient than he was last year and Ellington was a beast. That defense ain't impressing me tho
Over the past decade I believe each of those teams has went pretty hard. Only one to discredit is Oklahoma, and add some credit to Auburn.
But Alabama was good before the Saban era. Depending on how far you go back.. we had a national championship in the 90's which i think was all we needed.. And if you knew the story, we would have had Gene Stallings for many more years (the coach who won in 92) but his son had some problems and was dying, so he left coaching. We would have ruled the SEC in the 90's.
But if we aren't going back that far, we didn't have a 2003 LSU team by any means before Nick Saban but we did have a really good team in 2005. Our center got hurt the game before we played LSU, and our whole line fell apart. Guys were lined up in different places, playing next to guys they're not used to, and also a lack of depth.
Losing a lineman is much more crucial than losing a running back or a receiver... which we also lost with Tyrone Prothro, who caught that pass around dudes back. He broke his leg in our blowout over Florida.
