Here is the thing .. The NRA pushes it on videogames because its the best thing they have to take the heat off of them. Fighting fire with fire never helps a situation it makes it worse. There is no way that putting more guns on the street is going to make it better, but that's what they want as an organization so they push it. Gun control is the best way to go about it, you have countries even like our neighboring Canada across the boarder.. Europe, Asian countries that play just as much games if not a bigger market and they don't have monthly mass murders like USA... You do the math.. What's the common denominator for all of these other countries? Gun control

Here's the wild thing. The people who create the GTA games are from the UK.

I hate reading shyt like this, they've been on a witch hunt ever since the days of Mortal Kombat.

It's always someone else's fault in this society.

I'm of course not anti-gaming and definately not anti-gun, but this bytch is retarded.

Since they want to shift the blame on one, tell me this: What kind of weapons do people generally use in first person shooters? :beli:

im not gonna claim that games lead to violence

but lets not act like they have NO effect on this sick fukkin country
That's the thing, the USA is already a "sick" country...The USA is obsessed with violence...To make things worse, guns are readily available...

But at the same time, people always exaggerate after a mass shooting occurs...I think the media's sensationalism of violence, and turning violent offenders into legends and household names has a bigger effect than video games, in pushing people who already have severe issues pass that threshold...

A very long but good YouTube clip one person did going in on these people using video games as the scapegoat. The video talks about the Navy Yard stuff (related to thread).
