I don’t know. I disagree. Nerds like us who go on message boards and break down subs and whatnot are not the norm. Kendrick and Drake are massive artists and I would guess 80% or more of their listeners had no idea they had any type of problem until now. I know anecdotal evidence is only used as an argument by the feebleminded but I can’t even count the number of people who’ve asked me about it this week who i have never once had a hip hop conversation with.
