farmers are more guilty of this mentality honestly. they should be voting in their best interests. which for them would better trade and the reduction of climate change that harms their livlihood. Instead they voting against it.

People that work for Unions never make the mistake of voting for their opponents just because they don't share liberal ideoligies and beliefs. They still recognize that repiblicans are anti-union and vote blue.

To me, i'm not mad if a person votes republican. As long as their supposed to. You own a billion dollar corporation, a republican vote makes sense. you a 1% and want tax breaks i get it. But if your married to illegal alien and vote republican, i just don't get it and never feel sorry when you get exactly what you voted for.

The days of pretending only the Republicans are the party of the rich died when Obama bailed out the banks.

It really died when Clinton passed NAFTA which sent all the middle class jobs overseas and basically enslaved us.

Trying to make it about insignificant tax increases and decreases when both parties still support spending ridiculous amounts of money fighting unpopular wars and meddling in the affairs of foreign nations is disingenuous.

As far as climate change, that's a fringe position even in the democratic party. Nobody picked up Al Gores flag when he lost. AOC tried that green new deal, but received no support at all from her fellow congressmen. And the socialist style power grab she tried to sneak into the bill just left a bad taste in the mouth of everyone not on the extreme left.

The whole notion of people voting for "who they're supposed to vote for" is archaic and quite frankly stupid if you've actually been paying attention to both parties.

At this point is probably more beneficial to look at which politicians the parties and the media are suppressing.

So you're saying there isn't a clear difference to way these two parties approach certain issues, such as immigration, climate, gun control, healthcare, abortion etc?

Pro illegal immigration means more cheap off the books labor corporations don't have to provide benefits for. It keeps wages artificially low which is excellent for corporations and rich coastal liberals who need maids and chefs for the low, but bad for the poor wing of the democratic party i.e black people.

Climate, the green new deal was put to a vote and not one person sided with it, not even Democrats. Even AOC is backing away from it, recently saying that the 12 years thing was sarcasm. There are small little known politicians on both sides advocating for environmentalism, but the only ones who get traction are the ones deemed "fukkable" (Hows that for progress?), otherwise it's the status quo from party leaders.

Taking people's legal guns in an environment where police are increasingly militarized and violent only serves to hurt the people terrorized by police the most, the poor and black people. You know who it helps tho, when the line between corporations and government is blurred to the point of nonexistence, they'll have a power hungry police force for protection and a completely unarmed citizenry.

Healthcare- major healthcare providers and insurance providers spend billions bribing politicians to create an atmosphere where they do what they want. There's no set pricing, they might charge you one thing, they might charge me another. A regular hall's coughdrop can be repackaged and given in the hospital for 10 bucks. Competition cant even spring up organically because of the regulatory roadblocks set up by politicians. To simply say we need free healthcare addresses none of those problems and it's not even "free" because taxes have to go up to support it. And anyone who thinks the government will get a good deal on behalf of the citizens clearly didn't pay attention to the iraq war and the absolute buffet defense contractors had. It's no coincidence a lot of the tech billionaires are getting into health care.

Abortion- promoted by eugenicists, used to kill over 16 million black babies in less than 40 years. Is that really an issue to brag about?

all that and you didn't really answer my question.

There are differences but in the end they serve the same results, to enrich the people who really own the government. One party targets people with so much empathy they can be taken advantage of and the other targets people with so much callousness and contempt for "others" they can be taken advantage of.

It's time to grow up. You like the little kids actually believing the NWO and WCW had beef. In America the political theater is so entertaining we treat it like a tv show.

The fact you can say with a straight face that the dems are the party of the working class when they embrace illegal immigration, signed one of the worst trade deals of all time which decimated the middle class and made China a superpower, and bailed banks out after their irresponsibility caused a national economic crisis, shows that you just accept whatever narrative the media gives you

What national economic crisis did the dems cause? are you talking about the housing market crash from the second term of the bush presidency?

Read it again, I said dems bailed the bankers out after their (as in the banker's) greed and incompetence caused a crisis.

Again you're getting defensive because you want to root for your "team"

But Bush opened the door, and Obama made sure there was no negative impact for the people really in charge.

2 sides of the same coin.

Fugg em. No sympathy.

Not all racists are Trump supporters but all Trump supporters are racists and I'd rather spend my time doing something more constructive than having sympathy for racist fascist enabling Trump supporters. They would not give a damn about my black ass if push came to shove.

Politics got people going crazy. You're celebrating people losing their livelihood because they may have voted differently than you.

Not to mention the effect this is gonna have on the cost of food.

Man I'm sick of gang war politics
I personally see Trump supporters as Nazis that really want non-whites in America annihilated. They really want America to be a 90%+ white ethno state and enclave for Europeans and the preservation of "western civilization" (ie whiteness). They are not to be trusted and by all means I refuse to be associated with them. By supporting Trump they let me know who's side they are on and it's definitely not mine. What compromise is coming from people who support a president that the KKK and white supremacists actively support?

Many of you dont want to hear this on the coli...but there is no reasoning with Trumpism. Its fascism...not full on...but close and inching closer.

There's no reasoning or understanding to come from that especially if you're not white. I'm not singing kumbaya and holding hands with some far right wing ***** racist who prays to lord kek who chants "Jews will not replace us" wearing a MAGA hat anytime soon. For all intents and purposes....no offense that's your enemy. Who knows what sinister thoughts they have in their head? If they voted for Trump they are a racist...sorry. not sorry. Not sympathizing with nazis, white supremacists, alt righters, fascists, neo-fascists, neo confederates, proto-fascists, white nationalists or whatever delineation of the right wing verbiage they would like to be referred to. They actively support my oppression as a Black man by supporting Trump and the GOP. There is no compromise there.

I'm failing to see how this explains why you think the Dem's caused the crash.
