I'm very intrigued to see how they come out tonight, it'll go a long way in proving they're legit. Blew a lead, went down, can back and won on the road and tomorrow is a travel day. The Terry Collins Mets always seemed to come out fast in games like today.

I chalked up Sunday as a loss... I mean ESPN night game, against biggest division rival, and the third game of a 3 game series that they'd won the first two? i thought they'd lose by 10 runs.

I want an easy win tonight to go into the off day and take on the Brewers.

Even in the Terry Collins days (barring injuries) it felt like the team had IT which is why their lack of production was so frustrating. I know players were frustrated with lack of communication being an issue in previous years so maybe an adjustment to that and the previous mindset is all they needed.

I’m sure it’s very helpful for them if they have a bad game or at bat or whatever, they know they know that now they have coaches and staff they can communicate with and probably makes playing so much easier. :yeshrug:

It's only April but I'm very impressed with how the team is playing. The biggest things that held us back over the years were injuries and Collins incompetence as a manager. Hopefully the team stays healthy and continues to play well.
