My 7 year old niece could swipe second base on this clown. Has little to do with the pitchers. This guy couldn't throw out the trash properly if his wife asked him to.

We need both unfortunately the catching market is super thin, Plaw is pretty solid defensively so he will improve and we just have to hope TD'a can scrape through a passable CS%
TdA sucks at throwing runners out but Matz is did a shytty job holding the runners, even a good arm behind the past would have had trouble controlling the running game
The Mets pitching staff has to be the worst at holding on runners.
Put prime Yadier back there and he stands no chance.
I'm going to need Harvey to do what Matz did yesterday plus just a bit more, perhaps 7 innings? The game is on ESPN and it's a Sunday night game, that's not very encouraging. I think the Mets won 2 games on Sundays all of last year.

The Mets could have acquired Realmuto if they had pieces. Sandy drafted so bad that there's no one worth giving away in the minors. They're stuck with d'Arnaud who is in a make or break year for his career. Plawecki's offense isn't good enough to make Travis second fiddle. Hard to believe TdA was the steal in the dikkey trade when it happened.
