I'm not too hot about these last two deals really this one. We're really undervaluing our prospects instead of spending.

There's nothing like filling in depth with no named, low salaried guys. The Met way.

The Mets had no business trading prospects after the Diaz/Cano trade. This was the offseason to simply spend or trade folks like Plawecki/Lagares/D'Arnaud.

This just gave me a brilliant idea...

Mets should engage teams in trade talks who have the most highly rated minor league prospects (who obviously know what they are doing in that department), wait for them to tell you what farm players on our team they want...and then you back out and make sure to not trade those players because they obviously have talent...
