I hope you buy tickets to support this team when they're not shyt for the next half decade because you traded away your assets for potential. The Dodgers didn't rebuild after McCourt was forced to sell because they knew the fanbase would protest the team by not going to games.

They didn't rebuild because the new owners HAD MONEY TO SPEND!! The COUpons DO NOT have any more money to spend on big name free agents and in particular YOUNG big name free agents. They'd rather pocket the money and continue to play medium market baseball. This is NY fukking City not Cleveland. They need to sell to owners who are willing to spend.

We won't even look in the direction of Harper or Machado we'll probably sign and over spend on another gray haired player like Fraizer meanwhile our cousins in the Bronx will likely go after one of these guys and continue to dominate.
