Short term? No.

My guess is that they're gonna bank on drafting one in 2017 because it's gonna be PG heavy (their own pick and LA's pick should net them one), but even then, they're gonna want a combo guard because Ben Simmons will be the one facilitating anyway. That's why they went after Bayless. They can get away with their SF situation and who knows what happens with Korkmaz down the road, but they'll need a scoring PG.

I think they'd trade Okafor for the right deal, but there's 3 high level PGs in the next draft and they potentially have 2 picks this year.

Ben Simmons was supposed to be their primary ball handler, with Bayless playing off him, so it's kind of hard to judge them right now.

It's funny b/c they have the talent to be decent but you look at the box score and they had like 15 assists and nearly 20 plus turnovers. Even marginal PG play could correct that...I know they're waiting on guys to get healthy but Simmons won't be back till Jan. That seems like a long time to wait to get the right PG in there
