Of course the ATL
I've done it! I've finally reached @AVXL levels of frustrations with Bazemore :wow:

This skinny motherfukker had a complete meltdown in the 4th :gucci:

I'm so frustrated right now :francis:

Bud benching Dwight after we finally put a good run together :martin:

I think I've reached my breaking point with Atlanta sports :francis:

Welcome my brother :blessed:

Breh is a full blooded bum and yet Bud sticks with him, costly turnovers and all

WOAT: 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 turnovers, 5 fouls

Yet Prince and Thabo sit. @Llcoolbay ya boy Bud coaching like shyt again

It's so difficult to get offense going with these guys. That 3 point lead the wiz had with 3 minutes felt like such a huge deficit.

Giving the midrange shot to wall hasn't worked. Why not pressure him hard and try your luck with gortat rolling by himself from the free throw line? You gotta hedge hard against beal and wall

After being at the game, shout out to @OGBobbyJohnson, here are my five Hawk takes:

1. Dennis is pretty good but not great. He has the quickness, the feel for the game when getting solid screens, he can shoot on occasion but defensively, he's hit or miss on the ball and sometimes he gets tunnel vision but in person, he's really good. Not great though. He has heart and nothing gets to him on the court. Was aggressive when needing to be and really put the team on his back in the end of the 1st and 3rd.

2. Dwight. He might be the worst Basketball player on this team. Lazy off of the ball. Doesn't fight for rebounds and when he does, he starts swatting the ball away and he's slow as molasses, has no post moves, can't finish in a crowd, lacks BBIQ, doesn't have vision, doesn't dive off a screens hard, sets terrible screens, poor footwork, terrible body language, when he does dive, he doesn't have a feel for when it dive like Moose has and he refuses to raise his arms up to contest shots. Just the most frustrating player I've seen in a Hawks uniform in along time.

3. Bazemore just doesn't fit on this squad. If he is asked to simply take open threes, cut to the basket, play great off the ball defense and communicate on defense with solid man defense, he would be an excellent role player as a 5th and only 5th option on a team with a star or two on offense but when he's asked to be a ball handler, a decision maker, a PG, a slasher... man o man, he is truly horrendous at it. Bazemore fits today's NBA but he doesn't fit these Atlanta Hawks. I see why Bud likes him, in person, he is very impressive defensively especially in terms of decision making on defense where many of our players are lacking. Offensively, he's horrendous. He needs to stick to doing two to three things at most, he's not an all around player but sadly, this personnel does him no justice. I do think he has a future in this league as a starter. He's not as frustrating in person as he is on TV but he's damning nonetheless.

4. Millsap is an excellent player but #1 option, he is not. He does a lot well. Such an excellent player but he's not a #1 option, I wish we stop it but we lack alternatives. GM Bud is horrendous.

5. GM Bud is horrendous. Dwight is wash up garbage. He's not worth 10 mil per a season. Bazemore is worth his deal but not for these Hawks. He needs a role which Atlanta can't give him. Sap is not worth the max on this team but he's a max cat and rightfully so. GM BudCox needs to be fired.

Being at the game, he wasn't that bad. Defensively, he was exceptional off the ball and his communication is something you see in person you don't see as much on TV and I was impressed. Offensively, :snoop:

Simply put, he doesn't need to be on a team like this one where we don't have a dominate ball handler or a superstar. He would be excellent on Indy, Pels and numerous other teams but for us, we ask our players to do a lot and he needs to only do but so much. This just isn't a good fit for him. It's a poor fit.

Wall can get to any spot he wants. Baze did a good job of keeping him out of the lane but the issue is when they switch, it puts someone else on him who couldn't guard Wall to save his life and while Baze does a good job, he's not a great defender. He doesn't force Wall into spots, just not easily to get to his spots is all he really does on man D.

Overall, the Hawks are outmatched. Howard being a bust has killed this team. He's not even as effective as Muscala and Moose is not a legit NBA rotation player. He's more like a 5th big off the bench type.
