Inshallah I would trade WOAT for Tyrone Corbin right now

Not really but if his contract was low, I would. My issue with Baze is that contract. I wanted him gone last year. He's been an issue for me

Hawks one of the worst defensive teams ive seen in years

@AVXL, you might not want to admit it but Al was critical to this teams success. Dennis and his PnR, defense, versatility. Now, that wasn't enough and maybe that contract would be a mistake but Dwight is looking 6th man status these days.

It might be time to start thinking about cutting the cords with Bud. I think he was crowned too early. This team ain't never going anywhere with his vision

I had been thinking the same thing for a while. Things have slowly gone downhill since the magical 60 win season and he exposed himself as co-GM. He's not on the hot seat yet, but next year will be the year the Atlanta sports media starts to turn on Bud if there's no improvement.

Al was only coming back on a max deal...Wop isn't the leader Al is but he's a better player for what we need and I think he's straight up a better player. But aside from that we need to look at this Dennis situation...Bud & Dennis have bumped heads numerous times in the past...I'm not sure what the disconnect is but they've never really seemed to be on the same page with each other

Should have never resigned him...people might read my posts and think I'm being harsh towards him but he really is one of the worst SF's in basketball (#39 among 50 SF in the league in PER coming into tonight's game. Thabo actually has a higher PER ranking at #30). The local media doesn't care enough but WOAT's lack of development has killed the Hawks this season in addition to Dennis's inconsistency and Bud's personnel decisions coming back to haunt him

He's not a better player. Dwight is trash b. Al at his worst is pretty good.

Dennis on why he was benched:

“I don’t really know,” Schroder said when asked why he was benched. “I know the 3 from Steph Curry when me and Dwight was arguing was part of it. That can’t happen. I don’t understand coach’s decision. I want to be on the court. Maybe I’m too competitive. I’m just trying to be competitive and win games.”

He added he would like to meet with Budenholzer about the disciplinary action.

“We have to figure it out, me and coach,” Schroder said. “I want to talk about it. Dwight’s got to be in there too. Get on the same page.”

Baze's re-signing is STILL puzzling, we were certain last year the Hawks wouldn't cash him out. Throw Baze in the Solomon Hill and Luol Deng category of overpaid wings from Summer 16

Either Dennis is being obtuse or he and Bud's issues are deeper than they're admitting

I think it is clear Bud sees Dennis playing selfish and he also sees Dwight but it's impossible to change who Dwight is. Dennis is the one who you can discipline as he's young and the PG.

Honestly, Dennis probably hates playing with Dwight as would any PG or play innicatior
