99 was almost complete garbage. Russo trash TV at its worst.

A lot of stuff from that late 90s time frame is overrated AF when you look back at it as an adult. A lot of shock value entertainment with no purpose outside of being profane and crass for the sake of it. The Attitude Era is no exception.
