Yeah...getting to the Palace is a hike. It's about 40 minute drive from Detroit.

Doubt you're going to get too many season-ticket buyers when you have to go through so much trouble to get there. Even more so in the winter time...with a team that's not winning consistently anymore...in a horrible economy.

Definitely would be better off putting the team downtown with the rest of the squads. Lions & Tigers are literally a walk away from one another and the Red Wings aren't much farther.

Definitely didn't know we had the biggest arena in the league before reading this thread though. Learn something new every day.
