The internet has desensitized society
No it hasn't. The internet, as a majority, is a congregation for the deficient-- usually mentally-- to be an equalizer for dealing with the rest of (normal) society. Mental gratification without the emotional and physical sacrifice that comes with it.
Of course pseudo sociopaths would naturally be entertained by those they envy, and the internet gives them an avenue to express as much; without the cost of having any social ability whatsoever.
As far as the topic, what you're witnessing has nothing to do with the internet. The internet just allows people to see what they otherwise would not be privy to.
Basically what I'm saying is there is nothing there to be desensitized. It's nothing more than a movie to a outsider. An outsider could never comprehend the real experience. So with that said, speaking on any issue as more than a popcorn critic is doing yourself a disservice.
It's entertaining on my end though.
I really don't give a shyt about you agreeing with me or not so we don't need to go back and forth.
Cool. Good to know.
