I don’t think Caribbeans hate Africans here or the other way round. I think it alot of it comes from Jamaican/Nigerian ego, we both think we’re better than everyone else and we’re the most vocal about it.

When I got with my girl (Nigerian) my Dad said becareful she not using you for a greencard and her family told her I would get her pregnant and leave because that’s what Jamaicans do apparently

i think its the small differences here in the UK. you see in the UK africans are painted as diseased and dirty by the carribeans.

if you are a young african you will have to adopt patois culture or expect to be secluded or they have to go the skepta way.

while whites give african blacks more working placements and advancements over the carribean counterparts, its a well slicked clog.

african household wont allow anything other than college minimum while the carribean household arent that stern and this trickles into society.

hard to explain but there is separation from the youngs to the adults.

there are more interracial marriages between whites and blacks in the UK, than african and carribean ...

but trust me the jamacians love talking derogatorily about the african in the UK. the classrooms the public commutes if you came up in london you would have to have adopted some form of patois culture. they are a major influence on the young.

USA is a little different. my brother sounds silly and all AA's home is america since they were all born there and have family tree lineage.

in the UK we have an opt out, a lot of the caribbean resent the africans because it was the caribbeans fighting the 80s race wars then we came through when shyt was a wrap with diamonds on our aligator shoes and shyt ... direct quote from a caribbean hater.

oh for sure.

not just the indian curry too but yeah for take-out, get togethers or every now and again for a meal.

the good thing about london its its mutlicultural when it comes to dishes. only brits messing with sunday roast though lol.

turkish cuisine is big like kebabs and stuff, indian chinese carribean and even african resturants are doing well. no hate in the tummy here lol.
