The slow fall into irrelevance was hitting them for sure. Less poppin your name is out there the less revenue and none of them wanna go back to working real jobs lol

They do have real jobs. If you look at Nick's IMDB he has quite a few acting credits, and not just for TFS content or other YouTube content. I think both channels are bring in good money, but probably not enough for them to not have careers outside of all of this.

You look back and they have damn near 20 million views on all of these Abridged videos

Nah breh, Shueisha/Toei doesn’t play that shyt. There’s this guy called Immortal who would post up the original jp subbed in HD, he got shut down twice. It’s why we get those shytty clips with weird cuts to avoid copyright.

Team Four Star was always on borrowed time especially now that YouTube turns on ads even if you turn em off.

I can't blame them. Their dubs are really really good. They're not half assing it. I also can't blame Toei. TFS could be making a whole lot of money from IP they don't own. At the same time they are free publicity. If it wasn't for TFS I probably wouldn't have gotten into Super because I had written Dragon Ball off as something that ended in the 90s.

I do believe they have a Patreon and they had they own site. Then they also have their merch. Even I got DODGE logo shirt with Piccolo on it.

Yea but problem has always been their channel getting shut down. At their peak they were always getting hit with copyright strikes from JP. They needed to diversify if they wanted to keep doing this.

Our nostalgia and love for DBZ plays a lot into. They managed to strike gold cause a lot of the other abridged series they worked on sucked.
