Honestly, I never did understand why didn't Vegeta go SSJ2 when Trunks died.

If I remember correctly the Z fighters were shooting at Cell first while Vegeta stood off to the side brooding how pointless it was. They weren't strong enough to phase Cell so he came through last minute with that shot that helped Gohan win. I am suprised they cut that part out. They made Vegeta look really good in their version.

They should've had Piccolo use up ALL his energy and die to help Gohan, distracting Cell. Piccolo's death and sacrifice would've caused Gohan to go beyond his self imposed barriers even as a SSJ2.

But I'm looking forward to Season 4... I want to see how they condense the Buu Saga.
