They can't or won't?
TeamFourStar, specifically Scott “KaiserNeko” Frerichs, has gone on record saying that Dragon Ball Z: Abridged might end with the Cell Arc. There’s been nothing conclusive stated as of yet, but the possibility exists.

The reasons seems to be that (A) TeamFourStar is prioritizing getting several projects off the ground that, unlike DBZA, they would be able to actually legally profit from, and (B) YouTube in and of itself is rapidly becoming a dumpster fire of a platform, and TFS in particular has experienced many problems keeping their episodes and even their entire channel afloat.

The team wants to continue to the Boo arc. Heck, there’s been plans to abridge classic Dragon Ball by way of covering each arc as a movie of sorts. But it’s hard to do that when Toei Animation keeps trying to take their channel down because of all the Dragon Ball footage in their videos. The future of DBZA is uncertain

I wish they could make Buu into a movie and just skip to Super Maybe even do something with GT cause its basically been retconned.

Outside of the Majin-Vegeta related stuff Buu is just a really weird arc

They'll probably hit the movies if anything. I can't see them tackling the Buu arc.
Damon sure is kicking the shyt out of Yamcha:ehh:

Its like a Metaphor :jbhmm:

He honestly doesn't deserve this :francis:

bbbbbbbbut its still funny:mjlol:

How have these guys not been hired to just remake/dub shytty shonen animes for Americans, I will never know.
They've been picked up for a couple things individually. I think their first official team project is later on next year.

I been hoping for a long time for them to abridge Dragonball, that show don't get the love it deserves as much as Dragon Ball Z gets showered with praise over the decades

Final Fantasy and Hellsing are legit. They had a quality Digimon spin til they got bodied.

I'd love to see em tackle Metal Gear Solid or even Attack on Titan.
