Yeah, it's not like the characters (besides the main one) are interesting or that it's well-acted or that it's funny or that it's a rarely-done premise. What could be the appeal of a show like that, damn.
they have been locked up for mad long...they are talking the same way they did before they got locked up.

Well there are a lot of flashback scenes. Idk which character you're referring to with the TSA thing. Either way it goes the setting for the book that the show is based on is 2003/2004. She was indicted in the late 90s and her actual crimes took place in the early 1990s.

Not to mention it isn't like the white women in that show are depicted like Mary Poppins. You got meth heads and crazy ass fat white women who got dogs licking their cooch. Imo the black women on that show got it better.
