I didn’t “vanish” because you made some sort of poignant point. I didn’t reply because your response was disingenuous and wanted to read through the thread first and now here I am.

When I said “these other groups” did I say all Africans or even strictly limit it to Africans? I was thinking about slurs from Mexicans (“Mayate”), Italians (“Moolies”), Arabs (“Abeed”) etc.

Which is why I say your response was disingenuous and part of the reason I didn’t initially respond.

Outright twisting my words to argue a point that I never made, which is a common theme with your ilk when we have discussion about this.

Then you are in here downplaying the word “akata” saying it “depends on the way it’s used”, like c’mon breh. If we can’t be honest why even have the discussion? :heh:

I’m partially of WI ancestry, by the way. So I’m not someone who is speaking from a place of bias.

I believe black Americans should, on an individual basis, work with foreign blacks who have proven themselves to be solid.

But black Americans delineating and gatekeeping isn’t a bad thing and is, again, long overdue.

People shouldn’t just be able to claim the same culture as black Americans because it’s led to this sense of entitlement and disrespect towards black Americans.

A lot of non-FBAs have taken black Americans for granted and that shyt is coming to an end.
:mjlol:

:duck:

I'M NOT DOWNPLAYING THE WORLD it was part of the language long before Africans were shuttled across the ocean by force. it was repurposed with bad energy into a slur by it's use against your people. the true meaning and intent was not that. I did my research when i learned of this term FROM THE COLI... yes FROM THE COLI.

yes you should do what serves you best but they (FBA gang) talk about delianating and gatekeeping yet all they do is diaspora war and shyt. making fun of accents and appearances. then fools tell me i'm hurt. I've never stooped so low and never will. My dignity as a BLACK person is always intact...Always admiration and respect for Black America. Non for Tariq and his minions

I know that, the reason I tagged both of yall is because yall love to pretend like Africans don't be coming at us sideways. Well here it is in 4K.
i dunno bout all that I've said many times there's friction on both sides which is where we disagree. you want to make it an us problem as in Africans started this or only we do this and you only respond. :duck:

you brehs can't be honest or mature in any capacity. you want to keep this going not dead it that's why you attack pan africanism. my goal is unity yours is division. that tells you all you need to know. you dudes want to polarize black people by using outlier c00ns as representation for "all" but when i ask on the same forum is Mark Robinson is representative of all FBA in similar satirical fashion i get a warning. but they say i'm emotional :laff:

nah i'm mad logical

let's look at the situation. you dudes dwell on twitter fishing for this shyt bringing it here for gotcha moments which reinforce your bias by continuously confirmining it. when you are presented with shyt to the contrary you downplay it. we have literally posted videos of non FBA saying great things and showing love and the FBA gang here will say that's not the real picture. so your mind is made up you want to dwell in that divisive place and view others as suspicious. hence you summoning us here to answer for some random c00n weirdo on twitter. if you want to engange that energy do it over there. that is where it belongs. twitter is the place for non productive back n forth c00n rage, might as well let Elon Musket eat off it... spare the coli..

Sugar Hill came out in 1994, it was CLEARLY used as a slur in this move, that predates the Coli and :hamster: what are you talking about?

The black people from the continent of africa that call African Americans akata are Nigerians specificaly. Africa is not the name of that continent, the europeans called it that name to cover up the truth. It is Nigerians that came up with that name. It puts a bad and a negative image on us Black people that live in the black continent of africa. Many Nigerians say that the word akata in Nigerian Igbo or yuroba languages mean something positive In their traditional languages. The Word Akata is a negative Word invented by Nigerians, I as a Cameroonian do not support it. Because it puts divisions amongst us Black people. I have worked hard to talk to Nigerians to stop calling black people in America that name because it is a negative Word, and it puts seperation and decision among us. In terms of all of the other more that 40 African countries like Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Kenya, Benin, Togo, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, South Africa, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Drc Congo, Congo, Ethiopia, Egypt, Angola and much, in Africa, We Do Not Call you African Americans Akata. We See You As Our Brothers and Sisters. We Africans in the black continent of africa understand the hardship you African Americans and the Black people all over the world including South America have been through and endured in the hands of the White people/europeans. We Africans respect you African Americans, we understand all the hardship you went through to fight for your rights and the rights of Black people as a whole. We in Africa endured our own hardship in the hands of the Europeans/invaders, but our hardship is nothing compared to what you black people in America went through. I have tried to tell my Nigerian brothers to stop calling black people in America that name, even if it means something positive in their native tongues, it is negative in English and it is also negative the way they say it and direct it. We Africans respect you African Americans and black people all over the world, that is why Ghana and other Countries in Africa are opening up paths And welcoming Black people in America to invest in the black continent of africa, to open up businesses in Africa so that the continent will grow, innovate, and develop. These Countries and the whole Continent of africa is Welcoming black people in America and all over the world to come and visit. To see the Beauty of the black continent of africa. The hardship you African Americans went through in the hands of the Europeans, I can never imagin it or comprehend it. African Countries are in modern slavery today, specificaly western and central Africa, these countries are controlled by European powers like France. The countries that manage to think freely and welcome black people in Africa are the ones that are not controlled. We Africans love and respect you African Americans and black people all over the world. Thank for reading this comment. God Bless.

I don't give a fukk where this dude is from and he usually posts good info.

That being said, I can't stand people juelzing about "Akata". It is widely understood as a pejorative like gaijin or gweilo. FOH with the BS.
I said it was repurposed as a slur for FBA. who juelzed? mofos tagged me in here to beef.

using tether and making grotesque AI art demeaning Africans while crying about a Akata, straight nullifying their stance.

make it make sense... :skip:
