The brawd got some serious issues but Aziz isnt totally in the clear here. The minute a chick starts talking using the word "forced" he should have known she was trouble and STOP

...kissing her, briefly performed oral sex on her, and asked her to do the same thing to him. She did, but not for long. “It was really quick. Everything was pretty much touched and done within ten minutes of hooking up, except for actual sex.”
....

“I said I don’t want to feel forced because then I’ll hate you, and I’d rather not hate you,” she said.
......
she was happy with how he reacted. “He said, ‘Oh, of course, it’s only fun if we’re both having fun.’ The response was technically very sweet and acknowledging the fact that I was very uncomfortable. Verbally, in that moment, he acknowledged that I needed to take it slow.

First of all a chick comes to your place, you perform oral sex on her and then she performs oral sex on you and suddenly talking about "let's just chill" should have been kicked the fukk out right there and then. Dont show her you're mad and dont do it rudely but still you should have asked her to leave because you're very aroused and will want sex and if she's not interested it's best she leaves so you could cool off. Aziz should have known this . He should have known this brawd was trouble the minute she pulled that nonsense.

Look, younger women in general are very fragile and fragile minded so the minute you sense any discomfort on her part, as a man you should just STOP because we all know the minute she complains they'll likely take her side over yours. Aziz should have stopped right there and then. The chick's biggest fukk up is giving him head after he went down on her. If you werent down to have sex why give a mofo head in the first place? I can see how Aziz misread that as a green light + the head further fueled his thirst. But as a man you know when it's "he said she said" you are doomed. Gotta be smarter than that.

I'm curious to see how he rebounds after this. I can't see him doing Master of None season 3 with a significant amount of episodes focused on his romantic interests. That whole show might need revamped.

Something else too is, I can't see how any man would ever self-identify as a feminist after seeing how all of this played out. Feminists eat their own daily, especially so with the different waves/generations that war with one another as evident after this incident. Why a man would subject himself to that label and then deal with being viewed suspicious, or talked down to condescendingly, is beyond me.

There's a lot of women out here who yearn to be damsels in distress, but will settle for being a victim if they can't have their way.

Everyone attacking the accuser(rightfully so) but not the dumb bytch who wrote the article
Bills gotta get paid, B. That article probably paid her rent that's been due for months.

Honestly i dont think she was too biased. SHe presented the facts and IF YOU PAID CLOSE ATTENTION, you'll realize she exposed the chick (Grace) at the very beginning of the article. Because remember when these writers are trying to make a point they can leave out things the victim told them in order to better frame the story the way they want to. But instead she put a minor detail in there that shows you the victim (Grace) is one of them chicks that's just looking for an opportunity to cry foul.

In case you missed it or wondering, go read the article again and focus on the part where Aziz offers her the red wine BEFORE they even go out. In that paragraph alone the writer shows you Grace was already on that "i was forced"/"I'm a victim" tip.

You can be a man and be a feminist/support women's causes.

Look the word "feminist" and that whole movement has gotten a bad rap because of some of the EXTREMES. But let's not act like it's not legit and there arent real victims out there. THe movement started with a purpose and was supposed to be for good...Until a few people corrupted it but at it's core the fights of women not getting equal pay or all these sexual assaults in the work place are real. A lot of movements/professions get a bad rap because of the ways things ended up getting messy but doesnt mean they werent needed to begin with. Look at labor unions. Look at lawyers. Hell even doctors these days with the healthcare crisis going on

No doubt there are real victims out there and should be supported and the textbook definition of feminism is something anyone with morals and decent values can support. However, as you quote unquote put the word "feminist", there's far too much bullsh!t associated with them for any reasonable man to ever identify with them. It's one thing to show support, but to lump one's self under their umbrella is just foolish. I have conservative and liberal views but I don't identify with either major political party. Not to mention many of the issues that feminists take umbrage with such as equal pay, rape culture, etc., are nuanced subjects and not as black and white as they'd like to have us all believe.

Wonder if the people in the media coming to the defense of Apu did the same for Nate Parker, who was acquitted of rape and still suffered a backlash from women of all races when Birth of a Nation dropped.

Tbh Nate did himself no favors when that story broke. He has PR, he should have let them deal with it, not be giving setup interviews. It was a sensitive issue that he should have been more self aware of how people could twist it. Plus there were all sorts of levels going on with that story.

You had 'shea butter twitter' relishing being used as the first line of attack dogs, because Nate's woman was white. If this happened now I think people would come to his defense more.

He could have had Gloria Allred herself come to his defense, and the wolves and wenches would have still pounced on him. The character assassination of Nate Parker, through dredged up accusations since debunked in a court of law, was a direct response to a film that embodied how we all feel about these demons.

I agree. Shea Butter Twitter have to ask themselves why they're so easy to rile up and be used as pawns again and again and again. They started the charge to weaken the defence. And then others followed with the old rape stuff. But who put a battery in their back?

Shea Butter and all these other c00ns and wenches collaborating with the enemy are paid prostitutes whoring out their racial credibility as "black" people to undermine those of us fighting in this struggle. It's time to be honest and come to terms with the fact that we have a lot of white supremacists in blackface among us. :francis:

Why isnt those fukkers who chained their kids for DECADES so they are so emaciated a much bigger story?

Probably because this is the first time we're seeing evidence of a real backlash to someone alleging they were the victim of sexual assault. Since this story went public, this is the first time we've seen major divisions within the "movement." A ton of women came out and questioned the validity of Abby Nierman's claims. Plus it's awards season and Ansari and his show are nominated in multiple categories. And he won an award recently. Plus the alleged incident is pretty common so it wouldn't hurt to have some discussion on these scenarios regardless of how one views this woman's story.

Will say though, it is very telling how much flack Aziz is getting compared to James Franco. :mjpls:
