McKenzie plays a position that you have to watch to know how good or bad he plays. Stats don't do 1-techniques justice.
I've been impressed with McKenzie this year. He's been playing very well.
I will say Kongbo has been subpar so far. But he's still got another year left to develop. Remember he only just started playing football. He's from Africa and used to play basketball.

He's a 1-technique like Pat Williams and Sam Adams.
He's never gonna show up during the games getting sacks or TFLs. His game is to take up double teams to free up linebackers to make plays.
And as the PFF numbers show, he's really good at his job.

He'll be an All-American next year when we get Chip Kelly and a first round pick in 2019.
He's super talented. Just plays a position where he doesn't get those sexy stats that get the attention of dumbasses in the media. Especially when our team is losing. When you're winning guys like McKenzie get attention.
He'll get that attention next year when we win the SEC with Chip Kelly.
