People love it when drug addicts overcome their addictions.
Not a "we vs them" thing. I see a lot false comparisons online being like, if they can accept RDJ back why not this abuser?
People don't wanna see a redemption arc for a rapist or an Abuser. Don't act like RDJ wouldn't still be in exile if he was beating up on women.
Plus half of hollywood is on drugs themselves. Not something they hold against each other.
