It will leak or might be in a directors cut and that could be how the new generation remembers him. We live in a time where folks whole legacies spanning decades can get destroyed, bushed, and redefined in 1 day ( Kellz, Cosby, Diddy etc. ).

This is disappointing. No reason to do this at this stage of his career. Denzel is smarter than this. He has always been revered and respected for his portrayals of black masculinity. So why risk destroying your legacy before you retire?

Far be it from me to defend it, but what makes his portrayal of gay/bi men unmasculine? We have had numerous examples of shows like The Wire or Brooklyn 99 portraying gay men without compromising that aspect...
