well theres a clear distinction between the type of fan that pops for a nick gage appearance and one who would have no idea who he is or why hes in a main event match on his debut.. whatever technical term u wanna call the former is who AEW caters to

Dude, there’s levels to fandom in every form of entertainment. Of course it’ll be different if he was on E programming. You can argue AEW fans are filled with more hardcore smarks than E fans.
