Carr looks like he has the poise, work ethic and arm strength to be special in this league.

With what appears to be us heading into next year's draft at #1, hopefully we can have a bidding war for that pick for those teams who love Mariota.

Are the Jets done with the Geno experiment? Are the Bucs done with the McCown experiment? Titans done with the Locker experiment?

I'd love for us to get a deal similar to that of Rams/RGIII

LOL @ Raiders Sales rep still reaching out to me stating they have season tickets still left! sad

:banderas:Please make that happen Mckenzie/Future GM

One of the Raiders’ notable free agent additions could be lost for the season.

Defensive end LaMarr Woodley suffered a torn bicep in Sunday’s loss to Arizona, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported Wednesday night. The injury is thought to be season-ending, according to Rapoport.

Earlier, Raiders coach Tony Sparano indicated Woodley had suffered a potentially “serious” bicep injury, per Fallon Smith of CSN Bay Area.

The 29-year-old Woodley has played in each of Oakland’s first six games, logging 295 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus data. However, Woodley has been credited with just five tackles, and he has yet to notch a sack.

Woodley joined the Raiders in the offseason after spending six seasons with Pittsburgh. He is in the first year of a two-year contract.

Benson Mayowa is listed as the top backup to Woodley at defensive end.

He only looked good in that SD game.

I think we should keep him around for the low, because we all know he's going to get injured in the next couple of games and be out for the year. Defenses still respect this guy. He can be a major weapon if we had an OC to utilize him right like Hue did.

Raiders cornerback D.J. Hayden finally appears ready to play.

The 12th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, Hayden played in eight games as a rookie, starting two. But he has spent all of this season on the physically unable to perform list with a broken foot. Now Hayden will be activated today and play tomorrow against the Browns, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Hayden has had plenty of bad luck with injuries: He suffered a severe injury during his senior year at Houston in 2012 when he took a hard hit to the chest during practice, tearing the interior vena cava in his heart. Last year he was placed on injured reserve midway through the season after suffering a groin injury in practice.

Now Hayden is ready to hit the field. That’s good news in Oakland, as the winless Raiders could use a boost.
