The Randy Moss trade still haunts me til this day. Al Davis pulled off one of the biggest robberies ever of getting the best WR at the time in exchange for a no name linebacker, a 1st round bust in Troy Williamson which Minny drafted, a 7th rounder and Moss being my favorite player, I was excited to see him be a raider.
But then of course we were a shytty team that was just awful. Moss ended up not giving a fukk and couldn't tough it out so he had to leave. On top of that he goes to New England and plays for them fukkboys then he starts breaking records and shyt. Its been fukk Randy Moss ever since. Recently, I found an old randy moss/raiders t-shirt that I had. I threw that muthafukka in the garbage lol.

Randy aint no damn curse, he broke records, caught 23 touchdowns the very next year after leaving Oakland and they went 16-0.
The fact is the qb couldn't do shyt with Moss. Dude would get open all the time and look back and the ball couldn't even get thrown to him. shyt must've been frustrating.

Honestly, most will probably disagree with me, but it was THAT trade that was the beginning of us being absolutely terrible and being a punching bag for the league.
Instead of rebuilding after the Chucky Era, we began mortgaging our future with band-aids. Coaching Staff carousel, terrible FA signings (Javon Walker anyone?), terrible trades for old, past their prime players (Seymour anyone?), the list goes on and on.
We (the fanbase) are paying for Al's last hoorah/stand. We can't compare ourselves to any other franchise because nobody else endured an Al Davis. We should have won that super bowl with Rich Gannon. If only Al could share the "spotlight" with Gruden, we would have never traded away our best asset since Marcus Allen. (Oh wait, don't get me started on that one, either)

I think after the Raiders lost that Super Bowl, Al Davis knew he was old and his time was limited. He desperately wanted one last Super Bowl run, and he got impatient and just kept throwing sh1t against the wall. He didn't want to wait and rebuild the right way.
Gruden is overrated though.
