OK, so it’s getting worse for the Raiders.

With a 38-14 thrashing by the Dolphins setting the stage for the long flight home from London, they have even more issues.

According to Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has a high ankle sprain and MCL sprain, which will obviously cost him some time.

Matt McGloin finished the game for the Raiders (not well), and it’s unclear when Matt Schaub will rejoin the team.

He didn’t travel with the Raiders to London, after missing last week’s game. His wife had to have an emergency caesarean section to deliver the couple’s baby.

While the biggest hope is the Schaub family is well, he might have a starting job again when he’s back to work after the bye.
:mjcryoak:

Sit him let schaub and mgloin play.
Prep Carr for next season.
He did good we can't afford to lose him especially now that after the bye almost all those teams are better than the teams we just faced

Man.....I said fukk it and decided to sleep off my hangover. I tuned out early. Great decision by me.

Were not winning more than 2 games this year.

Were :trash: on both sides of the ball. The coaching is :trash::trash: the playcalling is :trash::trash::trash:

I seen alot of bad raiders teams in my life........I don't think I've seen one any worst than this current squad. Maybe the '06 squad, but we have a real shot at not winning a single game.

i like carr as the future QB but i'm happy he hasn't blossom in these 4 games under allen and mckenzie who thought they knew what they was doing when throwing him out there.

if u going to pay schaub 8 million at least have the 8 million dollar man on the field and have carr sit for the year especially against the hardest schedule in the nfl dumb fukks.

it will take this team at least 5 years to make a turnaround once they get rid of mckenzie and allen..

:dead: at tarver and olsen asking for 2 year deals last year and mark said only 1.. now they should kno why they only got a 1 year deal

the chargers , denver and chiefs has this team beat in every category...

Dennis Allen Watch begins after Raiders thumped by Dolphins in London

The Dennis Allen Watch is officially on.

Following the Oakland Raiders' 38-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins in London on Sunday, Allen has overseen 10 straight losses as the team's head coach dating back to last season and is 5-20 over the past 25 games.

Allen's overall record as Raiders head coach is 8-28. Among NFL head coaches with at least 36 games, only five — Bert Bell (who later became commissioner), Rod Marinelli, Steve Spaguaolo, Mike Nixon and Phil Handler — have a worse winning percentage than Allen's .222.

That's one long flight back to Oakland.

Could the Raiders make a move on the Heathrow tarmac, on the team plane somewhere over Greenland or wait until Monday morning?

This was one overseas trip that Allen will want to forget. After two close losses in three games, including Week 3's disappointment that ended with a red-zone meltdown against the New England Patriots, the Raiders went to London with that "Wanna get away" vibe. But they faced a Dolphins team that appeared to have as many issues as the Raiders with a strained QB-coach relationship and peeved defenders, too.

That storyline dissolved quickly.

After the Raiders took a 7-0 lead, the Dolphins and maligned quarterback Ryan Tannehill started roasting the Raiders' crummy secondary with relative ease. At halftime, the Dolphins had built a 24-7 lead, and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr came up gimpy in the third quarter after appearing to injure his knee. Replacement Matt McGloin threw a pick that was run back to the Oakland 1-yard line and a Dolphins scoop-and-score made it 38-7 in the third quarter that would stand as the final.

That loss might have sealed Allen's fate. The Raiders appear rudderless on offense and clueless on defense. What do you call this coverage?

Is it all Allen's fault? Of course not — and general manager Reggie McKenzie, who has botched many aspects of the Raiders' flawed roster, might not be for long either. Team owner Mark Davis doesn't appear too thrilled with what's happening, and he might share his late father's penchant for mood-swing decisions.

Allen has yet to create an identity for this team through two-plus seasons, and he might be the fall guy here. And yet another rebuilding job from the ashes, whether or not Allen is fired.

We've seen an NFL head coach fired after two games in an NFL season (Jack Patera, 1982, by the Seattle Seahawks), so four wouldn't be shocking — that was how long Lane Kiffin lasted in 2008, when Al Davis canned him — even for the Raiders.
