Yeah, you'd think he'd learn from GB's weaknesses and shore up this defense. Give Carr more opportunities by building a truly elite defense. We're pretty much there offensively but just need better playcalling here and there but this defense needs all new everything except for GOATson.

I was saying that in our offseason thread but I was told that was outdated thinking and it doesn't apply in today's NFL. Meanwhile, the top 5 total team defenses have an overall record of 40-4 compared to the top 5 total offenses at 34-12. If you break that down even more and eliminate the teams that show up in both categories, the top defenses have a combined record of 22-4 compared to top offenses at 16-13. But they say defense is overrated.

Team needs another off season before we can start talking playoffs. Never took that shyt seriously anyway fans were getting way ahead of themselves. We have too many holes (especially on defense)

True, but we got a taste of what it means to be a winning team breh, and I'm naive as hell for thinking playoffs but when you see the glitz and the glimmer of what this team can be. Man, wouldn't you be excited too?

Why is ray ray on the outside playing and getting destroyed by undersized fullbacks and can't beat offensive guards off the blocks..

I still don't understand why Norton don't understand blitz packages

Then why is Musgrave keep running on 1st and 2nd down with a guy who just got back off of concussion...

I don't know which is worse

non-existent blitz packages
running on 1st and 2nd down the WHOLE game
or non-aggressive play calling once the 3rd quarter starts

I'm just happy we at least been competitive this year.....Move Mack back to LB, resign Smith & Crabs and rebuild our defense in the off-season....Replace Ken Norton, toss Ray Ray & Hayden in the bushes and were set. The only thing thats gonna keep us from reaching the next level is the coaching. Does Del Rio, Musgrave and Norton have what it takes? ...Thats what it comes down to imo.

for like the millionth time, mack plays 3-4 outside linebacker and is one of the best at it.
