I high key hope we get a part 2
i dont know man. how did they change stuff around in the house so quick? lets say they got out of the lab at midnight. then fontaine looks like he the type of guy that gets ATLEAST 6-7 hours of sleep. Factor in the time it takes to round up his crew being another hour, maybe two tops. you expect me to believe they reorganized the house to that extent by 9 am???This shyt is satire dog. Nikkas always got to find something to complained about.
Really feels like a spiritual sequel to Attack the Block. Really liked the performances, the style, the music.etc. I do think it could have been a bit shorter, it started to teeter in the last bit, but outside of that it was very enjoyable.
Netflix could really have something if they start greenlighting more Black sci-fi projects like this.
Posting this if it haven't already been posted
Breh… they were meant to be cartoonish/caricatures because… never mindIt was pretty good. Characters were a little too cartoonish but I enjoyed it
Yeah, same reason “They Live” fell apart. The fact they were able to disrupt the HQ and destroy their satellite dish with such ease was justI'm usually pretty good about suspending my disbelief, but the fact they were continuously able to break into the lab so easy ruined the movie for me.
How can they afford all that tech and staff for the science shyt but not have armed security?!
You are Tyrone.
I don't think it's an accident that the entire movie the viewer is left asking themselves, Who TF is Tyrone?
Tyrone is someone in the "real world" watching this story from home, when he suddenly realizes.... He's been cloned.
The entire movie draws parallels to our society today. The majority of us are subconsciously yet significantly influenced by external factors (cultural expectations/ trends/marketing/ etc.) and "act" accordingly.
How would we behave if we suddenly woke up and realized, WE are the clones. That random dude in the real world watching this from his living room, realizing that he's not that unique and doesn't have as much control over his own life as he thought. Realizing there's bigger forces at play here.
I think Jules Taylor is trying to "wake up" the viewer with "Who Cloned Tyrone" especially African-American men.
That makes more sense to me than the the idea that he titled the entire movie after a small Easter egg hinting at a sequel at the very end of the movie.
