I was 21 and deep in to the club scene here in San Diego when the song came out. The women likes it and it was played a lot in the club and on the radio. I didn't know it was hates cause it sure didn't seem that is was out here like that. But it was during the time where it seemed like Nas had maybe fallin' off and he wasn't seen as 94-96 Nas at that time. So for him to come with some club shyt after that weird Nastrodamus video ppl his core fans didn't like it. HOV was on some Walter White shyt and putting Hank back on the case by talking shyt.
