Let's bs honest nobody else in present day is gonna do it.
If they were, they would have already
That’s because the truth is closer to the middle then people wanna admit

Ugh yea there is scorn.
A black man has his dikk in other black people's mouths even though he peddles HATE against other black people as his me as main sell.
fukk are you seeing?
I support the truth. Full stop. @IllmaticDelta and I have torn apart the false history of Hip-Hop on here, but we don't make films. Also, the pioneers need to be documented while they're still alive. Tariq got all the people who were there that are alive, available and willing. You act like he put pistols to them and will make them lie. You sound like a hoeYou sound like a guy who will support anyone as long as they tell you what you want to hear. A person lead around by their emotions instead of contemplating the situation logically. If you are a man, I expect better of you.
I rather the actual project be well funded, done correctly, and protected from falsification by an actual Black American music historian, then it to be haphazardly pasted together and produced by a known grifter whose efforts will be doggedly opposed by other ethnicities that have a beef with him. Leave that beefing to the idiot rappers whose street cred depends on appearing a certain way. Music history this important needs to be handled by an actual professional and well respected member in the field.
You hven't been paying attention. The "Jamaicans and Puerto Ricans created Hip-Hop" lie has been gaining major traction the last 20 years.Who is “they”? I’ve literally never heard anyone say rap is a genre created by spicy cacs
The White man can do whatever, but when a Black man does it, it has to be a "grift". Someone posted an article about the cost of producing a documentary a while back. 180K is like bare minimum. Aside from buying DVDs and trying the deodorant (it's very good), this is the first time I've given Tariq a dime. This is too important to not be done.Just so I'm clear, somebody making a hiphop documentary interviewing the originators and using crowd funding to fund the project is "grifting"? And was he supposed to do it for free?
Nobody else got the actual pioneers to tell the unabashed truth. Everyone else tells the Herc party lies and narratives and doesn't explore the actual beginning. Be mad at the media and documentary outlets that didn't do it already. Just be glad the culture is being documented. Sadly, a lot of these people probably won't be around in 10 to 20 years, and nobody cares (or is willing to upset the apple cart) enough to get to the true origin.I 100% agree with the sentiment that Hip Hop is a Black American art form and a story needs to be told because there are always other races that try to rewrite history
..... But I don't want to hear it from Tariq Nasheed, and have no interest in him attempting to tell the story lol

You sound like an emotional female. I support the truth too, and I rather it be truth that is unassailable. You are willing to support a known grifter because he is saying what you like. I rather support actual professionals who will do what is right. I've already seen what he did with the Hidden History Museum, and I am quite a bit disappointed that it has been turned into a club and comedy show venue. So something that should be a look at our rich and solemn history is being used as a place for people to shake their asses and crack jokes.
fukk are you saying?

The beneficiaries of the lies will be mad regardless. fukk them.

The fact "Hip-Hop 50" is almost over and nobody has done italready is telling, if you really think about it.
I "sound like an emotional female", but you're writing titangraphs hating on and pocket watching another man doing something that should have been done years ago.You sound like an emotional female. I should take his intentions seriously?
I shudder to think about how effective his documentary will be on the history of 'Hip-Hop'. Instead he should get an actual recognized and respected Black American historian to lead the documentary. Someone known in the world of documentaries and/or Black American history who does not carry the baggage of being a known grifter who turned a concept for a museum that shows our rich history into a venue for comedians and club goers.
You may be giddy about the idea of him producing a documentary, but I believe our people deserve a documentary on our creation of Hip-Hop that is professionally made and historically unassailable. Meaning it will have the right quotations and supporting documents that will make it exceedingly difficult to take seriously any unsupported claims of creating Hip-Hop by non-Black American ethnicities.
With Tariq doing it and his past history of being a known grifter, this documentary can easily be swept aside as unprofessional drivel. If the real intention is to protect our history on this issue from those trying to hijack it, then he is definitely not the person to do it and be taken seriously in an uncontroversial manner outside of those who are his followers.
Get a darn real Black Historian to do this right, not a grifter.
Yes, this is a serious issue that needs a serious discussion. If you will ignore the serious nature of this issue, then you can't be taken seriously either. In fact, most of the time when actual evidence is put forward to support a position, it is mainly those who are feminized that seek to find some means of ignoring the evidence.I "sound like an emotional female", but you're writing titangraphs hating on and pocket watching another man doing something that should have been done years ago.
Hoe behavior. Didn't even read all that fakkitry. Your whole style lacks testosterone.
He's a grifter. Laws don't matter just pay him the moneyLast I heard Tariq got hit with some copyright strike from a photographer for using his photos from the 70s...
then on the kickstarter page Tariq is asking for money to cover "licensing and archival footage" ...
if you don't have the money yet to cover "licensing" why are you releasing a trailer with unlicensed photos?
dude is all over the place as usual.
making it up as he goes along.
This is the laziest shyt to say and false as well. He's a grifter. Laws don't matter just pay him the money
/threadTariq Nasheed and his endeavors being viewed largely negatively by the black community is "c00ns and tethers always coming together like Voltron" and hilarious entertainment to the exact same little group of faithful dikkriders. The EXACT same set of people always popping in these threads defending this dude endlessly.
People don't take this cat serious man. He's no threat to white supremacists. What's entertainment is how quickly he banks off his own audience with low budget bullshyt.
The fukk does that have to do with this dude? Why is it so hard for non-FBAs to call out their c00ns, friend?
It’s back up now. Donate what you can, this is an important project!
who in the fuk is dragging you to watch his documentaries is what i wanna know
prolly just posting some sassy hater shyt to fit in with the rest of the tethers on here. you got plenty interest in him telling the story because you in this thread talking salty like the other bumbo claudes.
