Nah they saying it was created by wide eyed fresh off the island Jamaicans that was scared to talk to girlsWho is “they”? I’ve literally never heard anyone say rap is a genre created by spicy cacs
Fat Joe said some sh*t about "latinos in hip hop" on a radio show a while ago, it had social media and the Coli talking about it for a few days.Who is “they”? I’ve literally never heard anyone say rap is a genre created by spicy cacs
This ain't about just rap, it's about the entire hip hop culture. There was an article about breakdancing in the Olympics, and the writer tried to say it was created by Puerto Ricans. As far as who "they" are, it's any non black person saying they helped create hip hop. If you do a quick search you'll see plenty of mexicans & asians talking about their bullshyt contributions.Who is “they”? I’ve literally never heard anyone say rap is a genre created by spicy cacs
so why are they trying so hard to redefine Hip hop

A week later everyone went about their business, Tariq on the other hand smelled another "donation campaign" opportunity
He was on no jumper talking about "that's why we need our own documentary"
It was only a matter of time before he dropped the hammer which ended up being $180,000 of donation money through his non-profit organization
Mods deleted the OG thread.
thecoli c00ns and tethers always come together to form Voltron when a Tariq thread is created or his name is brought up. Their bitterness is hilariously entertaining, friendYou all sound like some scorned bytches, in here just to hate and talk shyt.
You sound like a guy who will support anyone as long as they tell you what you want to hear. A person lead around by their emotions instead of contemplating the situation logically. If you are a man, I expect better of you.
I rather the actual project be well funded, done correctly, and protected from falsification by an actual Black American music historian, then it to be haphazardly pasted together and produced by a known grifter whose efforts will be doggedly opposed by other ethnicities that have a beef with him. Leave that beefing to the idiot rappers whose street cred depends on appearing a certain way. Music history this important needs to be handled by an actual professional and well respected member in the field.
