It’s a bounce pass :unimpressed:

No way he has control of the ball to continue the dribble.

I was just about to say this. I can't believe people are really trying to say that wasn't a pass to himself. :mjlol:

Ya'all gotta cite the specific rule that makes it a pass and not a dribble. You can't blow a whistle based on your feelings.

I'm not a rulebook expert, but I just checked the rule on dribbling and I can't find anything that would make it an illegal dribble.

I'm not digging through the rule book. Let's say it was a dribble then he still traveled lol.

“According to the NBA rule book, a dribble is defined as a player in control of the ball moving it by throwing, tapping, rolling, or bouncing it on the floor.”

So you think he had control or could have regained control of the ball to continue his dribble after the bounce?

I saw one the other day that was absolutely TERRIBLE.

Dude took some slow ass steps after he gathered, then he stopped on a dime, waited a half second then finally shot a layup.

The ref RIGHTFULLY called travel and dude cried "I CAN STOP!"

Clean as a whistle.

He caught the pass/ball with two hands. Then made a pound dribble which is a live dribble, which he then caught and dunked/scored.

Not a travel, not a carry, not a double dribble. There are far more egregious legal moves like the Candace Parker move where she picks up her pivot foot and scores off the other foot/leg lmfao.

It's an illegal move. It has to hit the rim or backboard otherwise it's a self pass.
To me, it just seemed like a stupid ass dribble. I was counting the steps and he only took one then bounced the ball way the fukk up in the air

:pachaha:
