True. But his opinion was significant because he indicated a willingness to reverse the constitutional right to privacy which undergirds the right to contraception, homosexuality and same sex marriage. He Is signaling to lawyers/interest groups to file the lawsuits to bring this issue before the Supreme Court. That’s not how the court works. A concurring opinion is nothing more than wanting to say some extra shyt that hold no binding weight in law. Same as the dissent is nothing but you wanting to shout out why you don’t like the majority opinion. Concurring opinion can be as long as he feels like it, doesn’t matter and isn’t what the law is based on.
It does signal how he’d rule in other cases, but it does not show that others follow this opinion. I haven’t checked to see if any others joined on his concurring opinion. If they did, they’d effectively endorsed such opinions and signals on how they’d rule on those other cases. But it is still separate from the majority opinion which does not argue these points.True. If he was hanging from a rope on the SC's front porch, I'd celebrate that shyt. Id also celebrate if yo bytch ass was hung off a tree in your front yard. nikka youse a bytch, I'd beat the fukk boy out of you. bytch ass nikka
This but thread starter and a bunch of these people with their capes on for this c00n are blatantly ignoring this.I don't think he's being made the face of it. I think people are coming at him harder because he said he wants to go after same sex marriage and contraception next. Basically saying take all this shyt away. Other Conservative Justices have been getting it too and having protests outside their homes.
I'm on Edmore and Gratiot right now fam, pull up.I’m in Detroit for a few days. I want to see if you talk that big shyt in person, p*ssy boy.
You thought I forgot?
Correct. My understanding, from what’s been reported, is that the majority opinion explicitly says that abortion is unique and thus this decision does not apply to contraception and gay marriage. Thomas makes it explicit in his concurrence that he does believe that contraception and gay marriage are on the chopping block. It does signal how he’d rule in other cases, but it does not show that others follow this opinion. I haven’t checked to see if any others joined on his concurring opinion. If they did, they’d effectively endorsed such opinions and signals on how they’d rule on those other cases. Clarence Thomas doesn’t represent Black people.
I wouldn’t stress about defending him.
Are you sure about that? Who represents "black people?"
