It's the nature of broadband in the US. The egress (upload bandwidth) is shyt with most providers. QOS settings in a home router can only do so much with a small upload pipe. Second, the implementation in cable modems to combat bufferbloat is okay, but not great (PIE - Active Queue Management).

For example, look at what Spectrum offers on their gigabyte plan. You have gigabit download speeds, 960 megabytes, but the upload is 35 megabytes. The upload is 3.64% of the download speed.

idk about elsewhere but in my city, they were having "All Luda Everything", "All Nelly Everything", themed events long before the virus came along. They were a hot too the DJ got caught up in some shyt and skipped town. People like reminiscing
