All about routine. The reason why nfl football is so special is because it wasn't over exposed. I also hate that Monday night Thursday night and Saturday night football is limited to people with cable tv.

You saying you dont like the Thursday and Monday games because people without cable wont be able to see them. But if they came on Sunday with the other games even fewer people would be able to see the game because more people have ESPN and NFL Network than NFL Sunday Ticket.

I gave up direct tv the middle of last season. It wasn't worth it to me anymore. I can't watch the shyt online or go to a sports bar. As a cowboys fan a lot of the games are national.. so I was like paying all the money to see my team 4 more times on average.

There are a bunch of games played on Sunday. One on Monday. One on Thursday, how isn't the one on Thursday an event? Like MNF, the fact that it's the only game on that day makes it an event.
