For two I'm use to watching college football on thursday nights

For three for the most part thursday and saturday games are not quality match ups most of the time.

For three do you really want you team having to play on a short week?

I mean, it's cool to have football in the middle of the week but I'm usually too tired to even give a shyt about the games. And I like to enjoy football games with my boys, but it's harder to get together on Thursdays than a Sunday or Monday night.

So its cool for college teams to play on a short week because you gamble, but its not cool for NFL teams to play on a short week (even though you gamble there too)?

The only real beef I see about Thursday night games is they're on NFL Network which only ~50% of people have.

Short weeks are a pain but then your team gets a 10-11 day break before the next one so it evens out. Things like pickems and fantasy football who gives a shyt.

And yeah the thursday night games haven't been good in the past but I'd take a bad NFL matchup over what's typically shown on Thursdays.

All about routine. The reason why nfl football is so special is because it wasn't over exposed. I also hate that Monday night Thursday night and Saturday night football is limited to people with cable tv.
