But you also probably had somewhat of a support system behind you. If you have negativity fueling each other like a toxic pit, what is the salution there? Sometimes a broken clock is right but the clock is still broken. That whole “I did it, why can’t they?” Mentality doesn’t work on brainwashed nikkas. We can all simply stop doing crime and shyt, but life doesn’t work like that. You cant compare something someone does to live to something someone does for fun.

What I was pointing out is the cognitive dissonance. What some of these black men do is okay because nikkas can relate to it. They got to do what they got to do to “survive”. It’s relatable so they don’t apply the same standard of “pride and morals”. However, standards are somehow back in play with things that are foreign to them.

It’s like cacs who want to apply “standards” and get rid of affirmative action for black people yet enjoy the benefit of legacy admissions.

You didn't have to explicitly say anything. It was implied with the sympathetic way you explained away why it's "different".

You're essentially telling me to view the one situation with more nuance, which I would agree with you, but you don't want to take a nuanced view of sexual attraction and arousal and the myriad of things that turn people on. You don't know what brehs situation is that makes him attracted to shyt like that. You have women that were raped in childhood but get off to be choked and roughed up. Why would a woman get off to that having been through a traumatic experience like that. It makes her nut so she can't help it. That's the way arousal works, unfortunately.

And taking a more nuanced approach like you've done with the other situation, I think you should have advise the breh to seek help instead of castigating him. I do think there is an underlying issue surrounding that type of sexual kink. But as an adult, who understands that things like arousal and attraction are intrinsic, I'm not going to clown him because of it.

You may be right. But as I said, I assumed that everyone here was “aware”. So I hold people here to a higher standard than the average internet Dude. If this was Reddit or somewhere else, I wouldn’t have given this a second thought. I would have frowned and kept scrolling.
