Imagine the visual of a black man arguing that *he* should be in the field picking crops while a white supervisor stands over him.

The migrants did those jobs and paid taxes. They weren't getting the benefits of the system they were paying into. They were (realizing it or not) subsidizing our social security and now that they won't be showing up for work, the price of the materials they were harvesting will go up.

I've picked blueberries for myself in this spot in Eastern NC. It was dope. Probably shouldn't have been eating off the vine but they were delicious . Me and some fam got a full bucket each, paid about $20-25/bucket for what would cost you $250 - $300 or maybe more in the grocery store. Cleaned, stuffed in zip lock and froze......use them in cereal, smoothies, pies, salad or individually for months.

^^^ That was 90 minutes - 2 hours in one summer in July sunshine.....70 hours a week is necessary work, but let me do another part of the Blueberry Industrial Complex, but also we might be thinking about harvesting acres of blueberries like it's the 1950s. There is all kinds of tools out there..



Probably cost a grip for a real robot harvester though too....
